Many kids want pets but when they get them they see they are not ready for it see if you are ready for a pet and decide what type of pet you really would like to get.

Steps

  1. Decide which pet you like and want to buy by reading books about each pet you might be interested in.
  2. Get a toy that is the same as the pet.
  3. Name the toy pet.
  4. Treat it as if it were real.
  5. Make a bed for it with paper and a food bowl and make paper foods.Or if the pet lives in a cage, then make a paper cage.
  6. Wake up early in the morning and care for it, give it food and take it for a walk or clean up the cage.
  7. Know that in the evening you should play with it and give it food.
  8. Go to sleep at night by putting into your bed, or get a home or a cage for the pet and place it in there.

Tips

  • Follow this for a week and see if you can do it if you could it means you are ready and you can take responsibility if you couldn't means pets aren't for you.
  • Show your parents and go to a pet store
  • Good luck on every thing i wish you are ready because pets are so much fun!
  • Pets can be reptiles, birds, fish or dogs and cats. Be prepared to create cages and food for the pet of your choice.

  • Please if you couldn't do it do not buy a pet because the pet will be sad and so will you.
